How can we help?

Find quick answers about Kalaam, starting lessons, payments, reviewing words, and support.

01

What is Kalaam?

Kalaam is an app for learning Quranic Arabic in short daily lessons. It helps you practice words, grammar, and meaning.

02

Does Kalaam cost money?

Kalaam has a paid plan. If paying is hard, you can still use Kalaam free.

03

How do I start using Kalaam?

Download Kalaam and tap “Get Started.” The app will show you the next step, including paid and free options when it asks you to unlock Kalaam.

04

What if I cannot pay?

If paying is hard, choose the free option. It is there for people who truly cannot pay. If you are able to pay later, you can subscribe from the app then.

05

Does Kalaam have ads?

No ads.

06

How do I review words I already studied?

Open Profile, go to Study Settings, then tap Show familiar words. You can see your Familiar words and search All Words. Tap the word to see its details.

07

Can I add words as flashcards?

Right now there is no separate button to add words as flashcards. Kalaam normally adds words to your familiar list as you learn or mark them familiar. You can still review a word by tapping it to see its details.

08

Why do some flashcards feel busy?

Some cards show more than one kind of help, such as the word, meaning, and pronunciation support. We have heard that some learners want a simpler card view. We are reading that feedback, but we cannot promise a specific change.

09

Can I practice after I finish my daily lesson?

Yes. After your daily lesson, you can start a daily challenge from the Practice card. Extra Study practice follows your review and new-word settings, so it may include new words. Some learners have asked for more custom practice, such as choosing words they already learned or changing how a timer works. We have noted that request, but we cannot promise a specific change.

10

Why does the Read section show some surahs first?

Kalaam puts some surahs first so they are easier to find. The other surahs are still in the list.

11

What should I do if I cannot log in or the app will not open?

Email [email protected] and tell us what you see when the problem happens. Please do not send passwords, card details, or private account details.

12

How do I report a translation, word, or grammar issue?

Email [email protected] and tell us which screen you were on and the word or place where you saw the issue. If it is about a Quran word, include the surah, ayah, and word if you can. Please do not include private account details.

13

Does Kalaam replace my teacher?

No. Kalaam helps you learn. It does not replace your teachers, tafsir, tajweed, or scholars.

14

How do I ask about payments or stopping a subscription?

Email [email protected]. Please do not send card details by email. If you would rather stop supporting Kalaam, say so in your email and we will help.

15

Email [email protected]. You can also use the Kalaam forum for general questions that do not include private account details.
